How much does the couples retreat at OMA Cancun cost?
$20,252.56 MXN including VAT, for two people. It includes three days and two nights in a private suite with a King Size bed, five meals for each —including the romantic dinner—, four experiences per person, and the transfer from the airport to OMA. Buying each item separately would cost $23,063.
Do you do retreats for same-sex couples?
Yes. All couples are welcome. The experience is designed around your relationship, your story, and what you want to live together.
Is it only for couples in crisis?
No. Couples come who are going through something difficult and couples who simply want to reconnect. Many arrive without any serious problems, just wanting to have real time together. Both reasons are sufficient.
What happens if one of them has doubts?
It is normal for them not to arrive with the same expectations. Before confirming, we can explain how each experience works and answer their questions.
During the retreat, both decide how far to participate and what they want to share. The sessions are adapted so that both feel comfortable with the process.
What if we don't know what to work on as a couple?
They don't need to have it clear. We help them identify what their relationship needs at this moment. Many times, the important things come out just when there is finally space to listen to each other.
Can I stay more or fewer days?
Yes. The package is three days and two nights, but it can be adjusted: you can stay one night or one week. Each additional night is added with your room, your meals, and the therapies you want to add.
Are all the therapies on the same day?
No. They are spread out over the days, with space to rest between each one. The sequence is always respected, and the exact order is adjusted to the availability of the therapists.
Can I change the therapies?
Yes. The retreat is designed with you before you arrive. If any therapy doesn't appeal to you or you prefer another from the menu, it can be changed. If the new one has a different price, it will be adjusted in the final payment.
Does it include temazcal?
The Private Sacred Temazcal is separate. It is the ancestral and purifying ritual par excellence, and many people add it as a closing on the last day. It is included when we design your experience.
What language is it in?
In Spanish or in English, as you prefer. Some therapies have an additional cost of $500 MXN in English because they require a translator. Massages have no extra cost in any language.
How do I get to OMA?
Your retreat includes transportation from Cancun airport to OMA: we pick you up upon arrival. We are in the jungle, away from noise and mass tourism. For the return, there are three options. We can coordinate private transportation for $650 MXN. Or you can request an Uber, which is the most economical: in Cancun, Ubers cannot pick up passengers inside the airport, but they can take them there without any problem, so it works perfectly for the departure. And if you prefer to move around on your own during your stay, you can also rent a car.
Can we explore the area?
Yes. We design private trips to Chichén Itzá, Tulum, or the cenotes with you. They are booked with our transportation partner and paid directly to them.
And what if it's my first time doing something like this?
It's the most common. You don't need prior experience, nor do you need to know how to meditate, or have a clear idea of what you want to work on. Many times, what's important appears just when there is finally space to listen to yourself.
What happens if I need to change the date?
You can reschedule up to 48 hours in advance at no cost, subject to availability. If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, the deposit will be refunded, retaining 10% for payment commissions. With less than 48 hours, there is no refund, because the therapists' schedule has already been reserved for you.
