wOMAn · Pregnancy Loss & Grief

A circle for the losses almost no one talks about.

One in four women has lost a pregnancy. Almost none of them has said it out loud.

You were told "you're still young", "at least it was early", "another one will come". And you went on with your life carrying something no one let you grieve.

This Friday we open a circle for that. For an early or late loss, recent or from twenty years ago. For a baby born still. For a pregnancy you chose to end and that also hurt. For the one that never came.

What we'll talk about

  • Why this grief is lived in silence, and what that silence does to the body.
  • What happens physically after a loss, which almost no one explains.
  • How to be with a friend, a sister or a daughter without trying to fix it.
  • A simple ritual to name and say goodbye.

You'll leave with: a short ritual you can do at home, alone or with your partner.

You don't have to speak or share anything. You can come just to listen. You are welcome to bring someone with you.

Guided by Renée Rodríguez, founder of OMA Cancún, doula since 2019 and Orgasmic Birth Practitioner, who has accompanied pregnancies, births and also losses.

Friday 25 September, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., at OMA Cancún. This circle is held in Spanish.
